Once a year the Chamber of Mines hosts the Mining Expo and Conference, which is usually held towards the end of April or beginning of May. The purpose of this event is to unite the entire sector under one roof, providing unique networking opportunities between the main mining names in Namibia and local service providers. This event is unique in that it is open to the public, free of charge, and offers each interested individual an opportunity to come and interact directly with the main role players in the sector and learn more about mining in Namibia.
Running parallel to the exhibition is the Mining Conference that is also free of charge and open to the public. Industry experts and renowned speakers are invited to share their perspectives on recent sector trends as well as local and global mining developments.
