Namibia’s dimension stone production is renowned for its finest quality marble and granite which is exported to varying parts of Europe, America and Asia. The marble and granite blocks are used to make kitchen tops, counters, tiles and other products for building finishes. At present, there are three marble and granite quarries in Namibia situated in the Erongo region.
