Langer Heinrich believes that the wellbeing and safety of employees, their families, and surrounding communities is key to its success.
As part of this commitment, LHU has donated several ambulances to improve access to emergency healthcare across the Erongo Region.
In August, the company handed over a fully fitted off-road Land Cruiser ambulance, valued at over N$1 million, to the Omaruru District Hospital. This follows an earlier ambulance donation to the same hospital in December 2024, fulfilling LHU’s promise to return with further support.
In October, LHU also delivered two new ambulances to the Ministry of Health and Social Services (MHSS) clinic in Henties Bay, serving both Henties Bay and Swakopmund communities. To date, six ambulances have been donated to the MHSS, helping improve response times and save lives.
In addition, LHU donated two quad bikes to the Namibian Police Erongo Unit to enhance mobility and strengthen community safety, particularly in hard-to-reach coastal and dune areas.

Through these initiatives, LHU continues to demonstrate its commitment to building safer, healthier, and more resilient communities.
